Our proposals

There is existing planning consent for two buildings of 68 and 45 storeys, joined by an 11-storey podium that include around 800 new homes and a large amount of office space.

We carefully reviewed this existing consent and between January and March 2023 and consulted on some changes that we felt better reflected the needs of the area. In July 2023 we submitted a planning application with these changes and in January 2024 submitted some updates to the design following further consultation with the council.

Replacing an 11-storey link building with a new green public square at ground floor that is suitable for a range of community uses and events, improves safety and can connect with neighbouring spaces both now and in the future

Delivering co-working space rather than office space, to better cater for the needs of the local community

Creating c.780 new high quality homes, including homes delivered at discount market rent

Space for a small retailer such as a bakery, sandwich or coffee shop

Changing the heights to 49 and 34 storeys as well as the design style of the buildings to help better suit the surrounding context and create a striking landmark for Croydon

Opening up the façade of the building along Lansdowne Road with commercial and community space and creating a more attractive street scene

Contribute towards a new street-level crossing across Wellesley Road

Re-providing the locally loved space-themed murals at Voyager House

A safer link to the station, with new CCTV, lighting and a 24-hour concierge
